Sooooo....we are leaving on an airplane.... again =)
I'd really like to try out this bloggin thing again =)
I love reading blogs. I do interesting things... at least every once in awhile. I need to find a better way to keep track of them!
Little Teddy has flown so much since he was born I have completely lost track. Julia has just turned a year.
She has flown round trip - 7 times.
Her first time was at 14 days old because my mother in law Sharon had died.
Then we flew in April for her dual baptism with my God daughter ( Maggie's daughter ) Emily in Chicagoland.
I can't remember exactly, but there was a trip to Florida in there some time in the spring. We flew into Fort Myers and flew home from Orlando. We visited my dad and gramma on that trip and snuck in a day at DisneyWorld. ( that trip needs a whole post in itself.... see! I should have done this a long time ago!! )
The summer had a trip to Maui and a trip to Chicago.
We made Auntie Kelli happy and went to Chicago again for Thanksgiving. AND then once again for 6 nights over the new year's week. I think that's it?!
So , round trip to Chicago FIVE times.
round trip to Maui
round trip to Florida. =
Julia and Teddy and I traveled 7 times by airplane in her first year. I'm tired just typing that all out haha.
So once again - We are off on another adventure! We leave this weekend to go to Disneyworld.
Sunday through Sunday. And we get to do Universal Studios this time. How are we able to do this?
Well, It sure helps that Ted is going there for work =) So hotel is paid for because he will be there for his Mega Meeting for his company. AND they picked the Disney Swan hotel as their meeting site. So while daddy is working, me and the kids get to go play. So Ted will be M.I.A. Monday thru Thursday. It also helps that Ted has earned the companion pass on Southwest Airlines - which allows him to take someone with him whenever and where ever he flies on southwest for FREE. and we have enough reward points because he flies so darn much for work that little Teddy flies free also... and Julia is a lap child. So free airfare and free hotel! Even a 9 hour travel day with Julia on my lap for 2 long ass flights couldn't make me say no to this one.
I'm a little unprepared for being in the parks with a 1 yr old AND a 6 yr old. Ive been taking little Teddy to Disney since he was 9 mos old ( Julia beat him by going at 4 mos old ) So I'm ready for having a little one in the park... what I'm going to have to plan for is making sure the 6 yr old is prepared for having a 1 yr old's schedule and ride restrictions to deal with. Ive gone over all the rides we ARE able to do and told him in advance the ones we are NOT able to do. Plus we are just transitioning to 1 nap a day ~ so yeah for that!
I'm half way packed. Gotta go throw the last load of laundry into the dryer.
look at that.... I just blogged =D
